Sunny Day by Kazue Fujiki

Sunny Day / Kazue Fujiki

Next in line, and catering to movie buffs, is the single Sunny Day by someone named Kazue Fujiki. This is actually the theme song of the recent Takeshi Kaneshiro [金城武] flick Accuracy Of Death (a.k.a Sweet Rain), and Fujiki is really a character from the film played by statuesque model-actress Manami Konishi [小西真奈美]. Konishi's vocal are passable and Sunny Day is a pleasant enough, if pedestrian, ballad - as is the accompanying track Lights. What lifts the experience is the bonus DVD of the music video offering five minutes' worth of eye candy.
