Prologue: It is the Cosmic Era of 0070. After the "Bloody Valentine" incident, the factions of Earth and PLANT plunge into serious military engagements. Many predicted that the Earth would win because of its size. However, it has been 11 months of intense and fierce fighting and a clear winner has not emerged.

The Story: Our main character, Kira Yamato and his friends are students studying in a college in Heliopolis. They know that a prolonged war has been going on between Earth and PLANT, but they assume that their city is safe because Heliopolis is neutral. Little do they know that the United Earth military has transported Earth's newly completed mobile suits here, plunging them head-on into the war as the Zaft Fleet launches their mobile suit towards Heliopolis in a mission to capture these new mobile suits.

Mistaken as a boy by both Kira and Athrun, Cagalli appears first as a member of a Resistance group based in ZAFT controlled Africa. She seems to dislike Gundam, and all that it stands for. Although tomboyish, hot-tempered and rather loud-mouthed, Cagalli is fiercely loyal and very gifted for a Natural.

Lacus Clyne [ラクス•クライン] (L)
Allied to: ZAFT
Age: 16
Type: Coordinator
Athrun's fiancée, Lacus was nicknamed by Mwu to be the 'pink-haired princess'. She is the daughter of ZAFT's leader, and is an amazing singer who has become an idol for her people. She arrives onboard the Archangel by accident and wins Kira over with her gentleness. Charming to a fault, she talks to everyone politely, and does not seem as a prisoner as she spends most of her time roaming the battleship. She always has a small pink mechanical ball with her, called Haro.

Fllay Allster [フしイ•アルスタ-] (R)
Allied to: Earth Alliance
Age: 15
Type: Natural
Rank: Private, 2nd Class
Fllay was Kira's classmate who ends up on the Archangel by accident. In Heliopolis, she was a pretty and well-liked girl, being rather high in society. After a personally devastating event, Fllay enlists into the army and appears to have a different personality altogether. Fllay's deep hatred for Coordinators does not seem to extend to Kira, but her motives for being close to him are also doubtful.

Mwu La Fllaga [ムウ•ラ•フラが] (L)

An ace pilot and brilliant strategist known as the Hawk of Endymion, Mwu concedes command of the Archangel to Murre despite being of higher rank. Mwu is also the one who convinces Kira to pick himself up and fight in battle to protect his friends. He has a grudge against Klueze, and has an uncanny ability to sense whatever the other man is around.

Murre Ramius [マりユ-•ラミアス] (R)
Allied to: Earth Alliance
Age: 26
Type: Natural
Rank: Major and Commander of battleship Archangel
Initially an office in charge of transporting the suits onto the Archangel, Murre becomes Commander of the battleship after an incident resulting in the deaths of her colleagues. She first meets Kira on Heliopolis while protecting Strike Gundam and later allows Kira to pilot it after seeing his abilities firsthand. She appears calm and poised, but seems to make too many emotional decisions.

Yzak Jule [イザ-クジユ-ル] (L)
Allied to: ZAFT
Age: 17
Type: Coordinator
Pilots: GAT-X102 Duel Gundam
Yzak has a personal vendetta against the Strike Gundam and Kira after being injured in a battle that caused the long scar across his face. He refuses to let the scar heal instead using it as a reminder to his vengeance against the pilot of Strike. He does not trust Athrun's abilities to lead the ZAFT pilots, often having different opinions from Athrun, thus causing the two of them to clash often.

Rau Le Klueze [ラウ•ル•クル-ゼ] (R) Allied to: ZAFT
Age: 28
Type: Coordinator
Rank: Captain, Commander
Pilots: ZGMF-515 CGUE :: X13A Providence Gundam
The pilots' superior. A high-ranking officer in ZAFT, Rau hides his face behind a mask, and little is known about his actual intentions except in wanting to bring down the Earth Alliance, and of especially wanting to capture the Archangel.

Actually, it's gathering quite a lot of dust, so I'm taking a photo of it and posting it here before I put them back into the box it came with and stash it away from sunlight and dust... I bought the entire set at my ex- ex- workplace (CC) when I was working there and it cost less than SGD50, it was quite a steal and there were 10 figurines altogether so my heart was stolen by it. (I'll post photos of my other figurine collection, Maburaho, the next time) Each box comes with a ramune candy and I finish them up within an hour after buying the figurines. At least the good thing is, these figurines are really straight from Japan, unlike some of the rip-off version that my ex- ex- company used to import in and then sell it to unsuspecting customers. The descriptions on the side of the box says:
