While grandpa was in hospital, the whole family had discussions in which person's house should we shift him to. Everyone was afraid that he might slipped on the floor and fell again, and initially everyone decided to send him over to his son-in-law's house (my father's sister's husband) as their home had an extra bedroom to put grandpa up. Morever, everyone thought of chipping in to pay for a llive-in maid to look after grandpa and also help to do household chores as well. But the son-in-law was so fucking useless!! He not only refused, he actually had the cheek to ask for extra money. I mean, even though grandpa is your father-in-law, he is still technically considered your father as well. How can he be so damn heartless towards his own kin. Much later, everyone decided to send grandpa to a old folk's nursing home where he can be cared for and there would also be other old folks around so that he won't feel lonely and could have someone to talk to everyday.
