3 Off Days

On my first week of work, I was lucky to have 3 straight off days from last Saturday to this week's Monday for a proper rest. It has been close to 4 months since I quit my last job and it was really a challenge to have to stand close to 9 hours a day (including work and waiting for the bus) and develop sore and tired feet. Well, on my second off-day my mother didn't cook any dinner as she had to work part-time in the evenings. And, I was really lazy to cook anything proper or walk out of the house to buy food, so I thought I would cook some instant noodles to eat and I chose to eat this: and my troubles soon began. As I have gastric flu and I knew I shouldn't be eating food that is way too spicy, but it looked really tempting in the first place and I was the one who pestered my mother to buy this brand to try it out. It was really spicy (with Sambal chilli) and shiok too, but it sure make me exercise a little in the form of running to the toilet in the middle of the night. And the diarrhoea continued all the way until the wee hours of the morning on Sunday (23 Sept) until I realised there is this "miracle pill" inside my house. It is called Po Chai Pills and it really relieved any stomach aches or diarrhoea and I believed the sambal chilli must have been so delicious that I forgot about the existence of the pills in the first place.
