I was reading the newspaper (I'm really slow in reading news, usuallya few days late) about this report with the above headline 'More life-guards, fewer beach deaths?' and it kinda strike me that there are still stupid people who still venture out into the open sea to swim despite the fact that they themselves knew they are not good swimmers. Come on, didn't Mama told you not to swim in the sea in case a shark comes up and eat you up? The rule applies to non-swimmers as well, you know that? Incredibly, the Singapore Life Saving Society (SLSS) hopes that beach-goers can swim safely in the sea with the knowing fact that there will be lifeguards on duty should they encounter any difficulties while swimming out at sea. I think this is just a total piece of shit! Why the hell are you wading in the sea when you know you can't swim? Can't you shit heads play sand-castle building instead? I sure never heard of anyone drowning in a sea of sand by building too much sand-castles. Let's just make do without the lifeguards at popular beaches at East Coast Park, coz it's a case of fucking common sense. I sure know the fact that I don't know how to swim and I sure won't step foot into the sea and get myself fucking drowned for my own bloody stupidity. Like hello, idiot non-swimmers!!
