The Vampire Watcher's Handbook

If you hold this humble volume in your hands, dear reader, then like me, you are bewitched by the thought of the vampire: the fiendish, diabolical creature that is feared above all others. Open these pages, if you dare, and inside you will find much useful information to help and protect you in your quest for the unholy.

My research and experiences herein will, I trust, help you to better understand your quarry. You will find advice on identifying the undead, where to find them, how to prevent them coming into being - and attacking you - and finally how to slay the wretched beasts.

There is much of a practical nature. I offer notes on signs of activity, collecting evidence, and what to carry in your vampire-hunting kit - from garlic cloves and wooden stakes, to seeds and knotted string.

Finally, appendices will lead you to classic vampire locations, and other volumes worthy of further perusal.

May you now follow me in my own eternal quest, share my visions, and gain experiences of your own. Be ever vigilant, and consult my book often.

But if your vampire-hunters look anything like this, well...

  1. I don't really care too much about vampires - except for Buffy...

However, I absolutely LOVE the picture of the Harry Potter gang... It's just awesome.
