OMY cheated their loyal supporters!!

I felt so cheated, now that the results are out. Anyway, back to the beginning. I joined this game halfway, due to the attractive prizes. And as the game logo on the left says 一"定"赢, which when roughly translates to English meant Sure Win. And I faithfully log on every night to make sure I stayed in the designated square tile so that I can win a prize. Besides, my mother's birthday is coming up and I know I won't have that much money to buy a good present, much less a good and decent dinner, hence I joined this game to win either the prize money which is SGD1,000 or alternatively, the SGD500 Plaza Singapura shopping voucher.

And as you can see from this image above, there's a rectangular banner stating my position up till the exact time the game ended. Well, damn game was supposed to end at 2359hrs and when the time was up, there were still people who were able to move around the square tiles on the board. And although luckily I was fortunate enough to stay on my preferred square tile, OMY didn't actually freeze the game or do anything about it until it was close to 0030hrs. Which meant that whatever they say about "game freezing" could all be a big fat lie when they could have actually "game freeze" everything after 2359hrs. Yes, only OMY themselves knew whether they "feeze" the game at the exact time or not?

Anyway, after the entire web page disppear at around 0028hrs, a message appeared on the site saying that winners would be announced, emails would be sent and names put up on the site within 2 weeks time starting from 25 October. Imagine my shock when I didn't see my name on the SGD500 shopping voucher list, and since there's supposed to be a messgae/comment box at the end of the list, I decided to scroll down and see if there are any OMY players who might have been cheated or felt cheated. And guess what? I was correct, there were a number of disgruntled players, including me, who felt that OMY had cheated us all by "claiming" that the game is a "Sure Win" when it fact, it isn't at all.

Imagine an even shock that was waiting for me when an OMY admin uploaded a link. According to the Prize rules:

1. At the end of the competition period, players who are in tiles with prize will be eligible for a draw.

2. The draw will be held for each tile based on the number of players in that tile.

3. Only ONE prize per tile will be given out.

Yeah right, how is it a careful and alert person like me never saw this piece of rule when I signed up for the game in the first place. Well, I figured most probably those pathetic people must have ran out of prizes of prize monies, and hence decided to draw lots and see who's the ultimate winner or winners for that particular prize. Seriously, why mention "Sure Win" when only a selected few will only get to win the prize. Ultimately, OMY are cheating people into wasting unnecessary electricity, phone and Internet bills and most probably sleepless nights to play a game where there's no guarantee of a "Sure Win" in the first place.

Yes, cheaters! Seriously, OMY, I really really hope you guys can have a clear conscience after disappointing so many people in under 1 months' time and I also sincerely hope all your previous players, supporters and members can actually forget the fact that they were duped into playing a useless game that only promises and never deliver. Really, sleep well you hear, OMY!!

P/S: I will still take part in games and contests that OMY run in future, but with a warning to remember about this "Sure Win" game incident that although it might seem like you have won, but there would most probably be a draw to upset more people. Damn, that's how angry and pissed I am right now!!
