Well, just yesterday night, I found myself unable to sleep at all. And when I finally do, I had this weird dream. It started with me and this group of people, presumably my friends or colleague leaving a building via the lift. But as soon as everyone got on the lift, it seemed that the lift was overweight and thus resulted in one person having to get off to wait for the next lift. So, one of "us" got off, and still the lift was overweight. Yet another person got off the lift and the same thing happened. Finally, everyone decided to just walk down the stairs instead of going by lift.

And the crazy part was that no matter how we walked down the stairs, it seemed that a while ago we were all going down a flight of stairs and without anyone's knowledge, that particular flight of stairs suddenly went from descending to ascending. So instead of going down and leaving the building, everyone had to go up and back into the building instead. It took almost like eternity before anyone of us managed to get out of the building. Worse was yet to come.

In my dream, I was a car owner and 2 of the people in the group decided to bunk in my car to leave. And no matter what route we took around the carpark (I remembered it was open-air, not within another building), we can't get out of the carpark. It's like, we see the exit just around the corner, but when we got near, the exit wasn't there. Exasperated, everyone got out of their cars and huddled around trying to figure out exactly how to get out.

And before I know it, I told everyone to took off their clothes (get your mind out of the gutter people, it's not an orgy!!), including their undergarments. Basically, everything that they were wearing on their bodies. Then turn the clothes inside out and wear it as it is and we should be able to find our way out in no time. And in the back of my mind, I kept having this thought that we need to get out of this "twilight zone" (or "twilight dream") as fast as we could or we would never get out (feels somewhat like Final Destination now..). And strangely enough, nobody argued about it and did what I said.

And that was when I promptly woke up, not knowing whether we made it out after we wore our clothes inside out...

Anyway, I immediately set out to look for the items I see in my dream and this is what I found so far:

» Escalator: To see an escalator in your dream, indicates movement between various levels of consciousness. If you are moving up in the escalator, then it suggests that you are addressing and confronting emotional issues. You are moving through your spiritual journey with great progress and ease. If you are going down the escalator, then it implies repression and descent back into your unconscious. It may be indication of a setback.

» Escape: To dream that you escape from jail or some place of confinement, signifies your need to escape from a restrictive situation or attitude. Alternatively, it suggests that you are refusing to face your problems. You are avoiding the situation, instead of confronting them.

» Stairs: To dream that you are walking up a flight of stairs, indicates that you are achieving a higher level of understanding. You are making progress into your spiritual/emotional/material journey. To dream that you are walking down a flight of stairs, signifies that you will face many setback in your endeavors.

» Car: To dream that you are driving a car, denotes your ambition, your drive and your ability to navigate from one stage of your life to another. Consider how smooth or rough the car ride is. If you are driving the car, then you are taking an active role in the way your life is going. However, if you are the passenger, then you are taking a passive role. If you are in the backseat of the car, then it indicates that you are putting yourself down and are allowing others to take over. This may be a result of low self-esteem or low self-confidence. Overall, this dream symbol is an indication of your dependence and degree of control you have on your life. To see a parked car in your dream, suggests that you need to turn your efforts and energies elsewhere. You may be needlessly spending your energy in a fruitless endeavor. Alternatively, a parked car may symbolize your need to stop and enjoy life. To dream that you cannot find where you parked your car, suggests that you do not know where you want to go in life.�

» Wearing Clothes Inside Out: To avoid evil spirits because that way they won't recognize you. In this way, the spirits will let you go and look for another victim.
