Warding Off the Evil Eye

The security guard at my work place told me that peacock feather have the ability to ward off evil, due to the "eye" that you can see on the feather itself. I don't know how true, but I am not taking any chances. During this year's Hungry Ghost Festival, someone or something stood outside my bedroom window and went, "Foo~ Foo~!". It wasn't really that disturbing to say the last, but hell, whoever that thing or person was, it chose the wrong timing to scare me. In a sense that I was trying very hard to fall asleep. Ended up, I woke up and couldn't went back to sleep anymore and I had to spend that time (4:30am to 7:00am) watching DVDs with a cup of coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other, trying to keep awake. Seriously, thanks loser, whoever or whaever you are for keeping me awake...
