881 by Royston Tan

When I sat down this morning and saw the copy of The New Paper, what literally shocked me off my seat was this report about a Singaporean actress being hit by rotten egg in Orchard Road. What audacity! Apparently, the "attackers" were 2 young men, riding on a motorbike. And the fucking sick part of it? They were throwing eggs at the cast of 881 and smiling at the same time. What kind of sick bastards are those people? This attack was not only unprovoked but also freaking damn stupid at the same time. What if they killed someone? Don't these fuckers realise that traffic at Orchard Road is heavy most of the time? What if the actress got blinded or disfigured? Besides, what had she done to deserve such disrespect? The cast were just hanging around Orchard Road area, busy promoting their new movie when everything happened so sudden. Seriously, Singapore would definitely be better off without people like that!! My guess is that those 2 fuckers must have been jealous in not being part of Royston's movie, that's why they had to throw rotten eggs at people to get attention to themselves. Pathetic bastards!! If their motive is to discourage people from watching 881, I shall hereby pronouce that I will "endorse" this movie in my blog. If you happened to be in Singapore after 08 August, go watch it in the cinema 'coz it's showing. If you want to read the full report on the actress being hit with the rotten egg, check out What Blasphemy!.
