I've read the ancient Egyptians did revere cats and worshipped them.Many of the old drawings and masks had cat like features on them.

DeleteYep, ancient Egpytians do worship cats and people who abused cats are actually put to death. It's a shame that there's still people abusing cats even when the felines had done nothing in the first place :/
