Discharged and finally back home~

I sincerely apologised for the lack of updates, but this time it's good news at last!!

Finally, my father was discharged from the hospital and arrived home late last night. No, he's not sucking his thumb, he's just biting his nail(s) out of boredom as we all were fussing around him. You should have witness the entire scenario, we all looked like a bunch of headless chickens running around the house. From "You need anything else?" to "Are the electric fans blowing in your direction properly?" and all the way to "You need to pee?" XD

Generally, it seems like it's a popular activity to sign well wishes on someone's leg cast. Currently waiting for my father to fall asleep while I sneak up and draw something on it as well, sort of to leave my "mark" there. If it's successful, I'll post up another photo of my "achievement". If not, oh well, I hope not.

Ah yes, those cartons of "doom", I call them. It doesn't look like much, but wait till you see the next photo.

This is simply ridiculous and disastrous! How is a person on a wheelchair supposed to navigate around all this mess? Each time my father wanted to "chill out" near the front door, he'll have to go through these "obstacles" and bump his arm back and fro. My heart aches when that happens, both his legs are already in bad shape. I just don't wish to see him go back to the hospital once more because of repeated bruising caused by these "obstacles"!!

We went out in the early afternoon (after 12 noon) for breakfast/lunch a.k.a brunch at the coffee shop. And the first dish my father wanted was Chicken Rice, we all got so excited we got him 3 small saucers of chilli sauce and sat around pointing fingers as to why someone would need so much chilli for 1 plate of chicken rice!! Another headless chicken scenario once more.

And this photo is the place where the traffic accident took place. On our way back home after "brunch" and a little grocery shopping, we passed by some acquaintances of our parents and all 4 of them start talking animatedly and pointing to this spot. I just took the opportunity to snap a photo of this accident area.

If news from Singapore traveled overseas as well, this is also the same accident area (I believe) that involves the infamous 2009 Singapore Romanian diplomat incident which involves the Romanian diplomat in Singapore, Ionescu.

I hope my father's traffic accident at this area will be the 2nd and also the last. Drviers need to be extra alert when driving. What justice is there when innocent pedestrians are knocked down while crossing a road junction with the traffic light in their favour?

Well, he absolutely is. He kept complaining that his leg felt numb, which I think is good. It means that he did feel something in his legs. In fact, he was so upset about the numbness he had steak for dinner at the coffee shop ^^

Just hope there's no more need to go back to the hospital again :x
