VERDICT: The store manager at the regular TBS outlet where I always patronize strongly recommended this product as extensive use makes your face looks younger and also much slimmer (it tones your face as well) at the same time. Correct method in using this product is to cleanse your face as usual and use your toner. Then apply this product on your face and let it soak into the skin before carrying on with your usual skincare regime of moisturizer or serum.
Initial use of this product makes your skin feels just a little sticky, but once it is fully absorbed into your skin, the sticky feeling totally poofs without you realizing it. And because this little bottle comes with a pipette, you can actually share this with your family, like your mother, sisters, etc without feeling it's unhygienic too. You use drop 1-2 drops using the pipette and it doesn't have to touch any part of your finger at all.
Honestly, upon initial use of this product, I can feel my skin being smoothly hydrated. And also, because I have oily/acne-prone skin, this product actually moisturizes my face without making it feel oily. I always make it a habit to apply it before I go to bed since I don't see the point in applying in the daytime as I will probably "sweat" it away and diminish its benefits with the sweat-washing.
But take note, this product is not anti-aging, it is created for the very "first signs of aging". If you are a 40- to 50- year old and thought that you can look 20- plus overnight after using it, then you're wrong. It doesn't, in fact, I don't think any products out in the market can reverse aging. However, it can definitely help slow down the aging process your skin is already experiencing. Best would be to start using this product when you are still in your early 20s, don't wait because your age, skin and the skin-aging process will not wait for you to start discovering products like this.
And so far after using this for close to 1 month, the contours of my face looks somewhat a little "toner" (or slimmer if you prefer to call it) and my complexion does look fresher and clearer. If you are skeptical or hesitant about this product, you can ask for a few sample sachets from any The Body Shop outlets in Singapore although I believe their samples are while stocks last.
If you have already bought it and is still skeptical, (I wouldn't understand why you buy when you won't believe but to each his own) you can share this product with your family members, neighbors, friends and discover the useful benefits for it. Highly recommended!
