Search Engine Optimization Benefits
As quoted by Wikipedia:
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume or quality of traffic to a web site or a web page (such as a blog) from search engines via "natural" or un-paid ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results as opposed to other forms of search engine marketing (SEM) which may deal with paid inclusion.
Until a few years ago, it was relatively easy to draw good and effective traffic. Especially if you have a good content-drive website with good products, it is more than enough to get a web site ranked well in Search Engines. But now, the competition has increased by at least a few thousand times over and with billions of web sites popping up everyday, this is a stiff competition in the area of search engine rankings and placement.
Furthermore, this increase in competition has also given rise to many different styles and methods of site optimization. In short, optimization is a method of making a site "search engine fiendly" by use of enhancement that will increase rankings and placements by placing certain sites higher in the Search Engine Results Page.
Everything from computer software to increasing placements and rankings and with many online merchants becoming confused about what or how to effectively use the various services like blog advertising to increase placements and rankings.
Despite the amount of SEO methods that are chosen or even implemented, there is an ongoing campaign of optimization that does really need to exist. And at the same time, as the parameters that are currently used for placements and rankings by Search Engines such as Yahoo Directory keeps changing, research into current methods need to be done routinely. And the whole SEO process id really more about "art than science" and it still continues to change daily at the speed of light.

Why did you choose to become a woman?
In Singapore Scene, Yahoo! SEA's Ion Danker speaks to Adriana Roslan, a 30-year-old transgender Singaporean struggling to find acceptance here. His parents have accepted the fact that their son wants to become a woman after many years of denial. Living a normal life is just as challenging. Job applications have been rejected and many have shunned him because of his decision.
After watching this video, I feel even more proud of Adriana Roslan. Why so? Even though she used to be a he, she felt that she is more of a woman than a man. Now, I'm not saying this due to the fact that Adriana Roslan is now a "woman". I said that because of the fact that Adriana knew what she wanted and went for it, despite knowing that there will be potential setbacks in her life after that transition from man to woman. Up till now, I still can't understand why Singaporeans are so biased towards people who are a little different from them, be it multiple piercings, heavily tattooed and what nots. Sure, they might look different from your usual stereotypes of what Singaporeans should generally look like.
But if there's a slightest possibility that these haters wants to blame all these thoughts and behaviors, I would suggest blaming the one and all important person. And that is God. You see, people who walk around with multiple piercings, tattoos or as an opposite gender as opposed to what they originally were, it's a lifestyle choice. Since they chose that path, they know what they had wanted from the beginning and they are not afraid to walk down that path, no matter how difficult it might be in the future for them.
Let's talk about the issue of homosexuality. If homosexuals are not allowed into Heaven because they're gay, wouldn't it be better to blame God since He was the one who gave us humans emotions and feelings. If God forbade homosexuals and homosexual relationships, He shouldn't have given us humans any feelings or emotions when He first created us. No offense here, but if there's an outlet to pinpoint the fault, please don't pin in on these awesome people who chose what they know is good for them, or what they actually wanted all along. In fact, I myself personally believe and feel that homosexuals, transgenders, transsexuals, people with multiple piercings and tattoos are not only awesome in the fact that they did what they felt they needed to, but also because of the fact that they can be the most friendliest, down-to-earth folks in Singapore that I would love to call friends, neighbors and colleagues.

Daryl Lorette Cafe - Blog or Actual Cafe with a Blog?
I came across this conversation and the questions asked were really mundane. And since it says Daryl Lorette Cafe, i thought it's a blog about a small and cozy little cafe. But it turned out to be a blog with short snippets of posts, or rather summarized posts from Yahoo News. Curious, I clicked on one of the available posts and realized, it is really a summarized short passage taken from Yahoo News.

Once again..
My apologies for the lack of post for these past few days, mainly because of a couple of things going on:
1) Was trying to re-do this blog's layout and stuffs, so I simply flipped the colors for a fresh look. I've gotta admit, it does look brighter somehow.
2) I found a new cosplay site that I fell in love with while trawling the Internet

Cosplay Holic
In fact, I love this cosplay blog so much that I actually link it at my side links as well. So, do go check it out as this is by far, the best cosplay blog I've ever come across for quite some time.
3) I've set up another blog called Chopsticks @ Home, where I post blog entries regarding home improvement and stuffs. So, do check it out as well.

Defining Web Directories
A web directory or link directory is a directory on the World Wide Web. It specializes in linking to other web sites and categorizing those links.
A web directory is not a search engine and does not display lists of web pages based on keywords; instead, it lists web sites by category and subcategory. Most web directory entries are also not found by web crawlers but by humans. The categorization is usually based on the whole web site rather than one page or a set of keywords, and sites are often limited to inclusion in only a few categories. Web directories often allow site owners to directly submit their site for inclusion, and have editors review submissions for fitness.
Web directories as defined over at Wikipedia.org, but basically, a web directory (or web directories) is in fact a series of web pages that categorizes links to other web pages on the Internet in which you can compare a web directory to your local yellow pages. But another more common and known definition is that a web directory is an online directory on the World Wide Web that specializes in linking to other websites and and categorizing their links for easy searching. Web directories like Yahoo directory most times often permits site owners to submit their website for inclusion and at the same time have human editors to review all submissions.
Most of us would think a web directory as a search engine but in reality, it isn't. In addition is the fact that it does not display web pages based solely on just keywords, but instead, it list web pages in convenient categories or sub categories. This categorization is genereally based on not just a set of keywords, but at the same time the whole website and at most times, there is often a set limit of one or two categories for site inclusion as well.
There are numerous SEO friendly web directory/directories on the Internet, with the most well known or common ones being provided by BOTW and DMOZ. The latter being a powerful player in the directory market because of its open content approach to editorial review.
But experts still refute the statement which states that web directories have superior quality. Furthermore, web directory development like business web directory is still said to be a relatively hard task to undertake. Although hopefully, there have been many attempts in recent times to make directory development easier by using a "links for all" type of link submission site by simply using a script or available PHP portals and programs.
And to talk about the icing on the cake, social software techniques have spawned new efforts of categorization, with major name websites like Amazon that have add tagging to their product pages for easy reference. And in a nutshell, a web directory is a listing of websites that are organized in a hierarchy of categories for easy look-up and reference.

I think I'm back...

P/S: Btw, I'm gonna have to check out all my blog ads, so readers might have to be antangonized into seeing a couple more sponsored blog posts and such for the next few days. Fret not, I will be updating my blog, minimum once per day. If not, it'll be one blog post per 2 days (in the event I missed out one day).
What do you think of Neobux.com?
I have absoultely no idea who the heck the conversation starter for this is in the first place. But this convo definitely smells more "scam" than helpful. But anyway, I'm posting this up to warn fellow bloggers that joining sites like Neobux only serves to inflict your PC with viruses that sucks more money out of your wallet than actually filling it. What's more, before you can earn thousands (as to what those sites promise), you first have to give them your hard earned money to get affiliates. And this sounds like total bullshit to me. So anyway, dNeero is a good way to earn a little more extra income online. True that you might not get convos everyday to post on your blog, but hey, when it's there, you're definitely guaranteed of a chance to enter that convo.
